Great coffee shop, somewhat hidden among the back streets of Canterbury. We were drawn in by the student discount, a rarity in small coffee shops, and the prices were very reasonable which made it a no brainer. I was pleasantly surprised to see they were using Curve Coffee, a local roaster, and the lattes that we ordered were very good. Service from the gentleman behind the counter was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed with chill jazz/lofi music playing when we visited. To top it off, we picked up a loyalty card (10th coffee free!) because we're sure that we'll return!- Service

came here with my boyfriend who is a barista and we like trying new coffee places and seeing the different beans as well as supporting local business! from the minute we came in the gentleman was very lovely, the vibe in there is perfect! will be back again soon!

Really nice and quiet garden to chill in. Friendly people. Recommend the fancy toast. Doesn't sound amazing... it's toast...but is so luxurious and decadent. My new go-to treat in Canterbury. Loads of other vegan choices as well. More varieties of banana bread than i realised existed. Coffee is prob good? Not sure. I'm not a coffee coinesseur. I come for the treats.

I LOVE THIS CAFE!! First time coming here, went to study and got their iced chocolate with a cheese and bacon toastie. Food was amazing, service was quick and friendly plus the atmosphere was adorable! Family run beautiful lay out I deffo recommend it 🫶

Beautiful Cafe situated in a lovely area in Canterbury town, serves the most delicious cakes! Great service, always served with a smile and great atmosphere! Favourite coffee house in town, a good place to study or visit with family and friends, definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Wave is a lovely coffee shop and welcome edition to Northgate. Engine operated by the same people who run Burgate cafe, The offer is similar, with excellent coffee, cakes and small bites. Had a lovely grilled cheese sandwich and a flat white 🙂 and it's well worth the walk. I think this will do well with trade from Canterbury Christ Church University and The King School ☕

Travelling around UK for 5 weeks and this has been the best coffee we've had here (and possibly anywhere). Friendly service and gluten-free/ vegan baked options available fresh out of the oven. So glad we found this place!

Love the way the cafe looks from the outside and inside. Very pleased finding a cafe allowing a study space and very accommodating with free wifi, a student discount and great food. Coffee was presented in the cutest way and the staff are so friendly and were lovely to have a conversation with.
